I have a lot of experience running my own accelerated learning workshops and helping others design theirs.
I do a 1 day workshop called Lead Generation Masterclass where people do some very advanced marketing analysis and gain significant insights in 10 minute chunks. Its very experiential...
With regards to bite sized learning - I have done 15 minute online workshops using a product called articulate. I have done face to face workshops of 1 hour too.
The key thing is to keep it very simple and focused. Better to take a small subject area and reinforce it rather than put in too much content.
In accelerated learning you need to accommodate different learning styles. Also stories and metaphor help greatly too. My saying is that people never learn something completely new. they need to tie in new content to things they already know - they expand knowledge and skills.
I've seen quite a lot of Richard's written and audio visual stuff and it's very good.
Firstly there's no prejudgement of the audience's current abilities.
Secondly he has a knack of combining just the right amount of information/ training/ illiustration/ ideas for individuals to follow up on that they can absorb within the time period without going into overload.
And thirdly his style is conversational, easy to follow yet entirely non-patronising.
Three good qualities (as a start) in any would be trainer in my book!
