Settling down in a new place

I ve recently moved into a new city...I was workin in Delhi and ve shifted to Bangalore...Its not the work place thats different but the entire culture is different at times I feel very depressed as in why did I move to bangalore when things were fine inDElhi...I just wanted to get out of my comfort zone...But any suggestions to keep me happy and figuring out how to find genuine friends at new work place
