I am sure that the professional recruiters on HRDcafe can pull this model apart - but take a look at http://www.zubka.com/ anyone earn part of the recruitment fee by finding successful candidates. Not much evidence of many people earning very much so far - but it is still quite new.
Any thoughts.
I met the CEO (David Shieldhouse) about 7 months ago and whilst he was a nice chap and the idea seemed great, it did not seem to compliment Cisco's current way of paying out referral fees to existing employees. As an individual recruiter, I can see the benefits and they had a lot of press coverage. Have not hear them making too many noises of late though.
So Nigel, Have you used Zubka? What were your findings?
I had not heard of it before your post. Am interested who is using it now, and what their results were for referrers or hiring managers.
I have found a great resource for recruiters with a similar web 2.0 spin-- bountyjobs.com is really really neat! I would like to find about 10 more businesses just like them-- like the model.
