I am known for my laughter, my positive outlook on life, my professionalism, and my relentless optimism. I believe that each of us is here for a purpose and I have a passion for empowering people to become more of who they truly are - to be all that they can be, and more.
My business partner, Graham Willson, and I trained directly under Michael Grinder, the world renowned expert in non-verbal intellligence, who has spent the last 30 years developing and refining his professional behavioural model which is used widely and successfully in the USA, Australia and Europe. We are his UK representatives for ENVoY – skills and strategies for classroom behaviour management. In February 2006 we received accreditation in Group Mastery – a rigorous year-long programme in non-verbal intelligence and group dynamics.
We hold the vision of a productive world where people and nations coexist peacefully through communicating clearly and respectfully using influence rather than power to achieve mutual success.
Our mission is to equip leaders in every field with verbal and non-verbal communication techniques and skills to increase their personal effectiveness. Our core values of integrity, professionalism, respect, equality, spirituality, personal growth, trust, and attention to detail, are reflected in our workshops and seminars, as is our belief that learning should be fun!
I began my career as a trainer and consultant with the NHS and then moved into Education. Being passionate about personal growth, both my own and others’, in 1998 I began my Neuro-Linguistic Programming training and have subsequently gained accreditation as a Master Practitioner and NLP coach. During my career I have been a business consultant with Capita plc and also Director of a regional team providing support services and training for schools.
In 2001 I set up my own coaching practice before launching GLD Training Associates with my business partner in 2005. Since then we have worked in both Education and and with businesses to equip leaders with non-verbal intelligence skills and strategies.
