I have been in training & development for 20 years, the last 15 working as a consultant. Having worked in a range of permanent roles covering quality/business excellence with LRQA, contracts management and management development with Axon Solutions and management development again with Capita L&D, I am now more into interim and freelancing (more variety & more control).
I have just finished an 8 month interim with OMX Securities designing and delivering management training across the management team including the executive. It was a lot of fun with an audience keen to learn but with a management population of only 40 all good things must come to an end!!
So time to move on and look for the next role. The market is quiet but my CV seems to be getting some attention. If I can help any of you out there, I do most soft skills, train the trainer, coaching & facilitating, presentation stuff plus all sorts of quality based things (process improvement, customer service, performance measurement) and HR (Attendance Management, Performance/Capability, Recruitment). A veritable "jack of all trades".
I am keen to network but am new to this stuff so any advice on the best way forward will also be welcome.
Regards
Steve
