The term seems to conjure up behaviours reminiscent of Orwell's 'Animal Farm'! I came across it recently in a job description and immediately wondered how employees would respond to the concept of 'thought leadership' as a motivational force? How would the culture of the organisation develop? and How would the performance/reward elements of the organisation be structured? I guess I'm saying that terminology HRM practitioners are comfortable with, may not translate readily in working environments. Any thoughts?
Question: What are your thoughts on 'thought leadership'? I'd love to share opinions, ideas etc. I believe this is a very important area when dealing with performance, reward and motivation.
