my friends have all dried up (or the life span of a social networking site)

Social networking sites come along and everyone joins and there is loads of activity and loads of people post and I get requests to be "friends" for no apparent reason.

Then, all of a sudden, it stops and I have no one wanting to be my friend.

My forum post requesting link/blog swaps resulted in very few click throughs to our website.

Is anyone still here ?

Is social networking a short term activity with a limited life span of just a few days ?

Hi, Didn't manage to get my page up today. I am putting up my working methodology 2morrow morning and I was just writing to tell you about this and hope that you get to have a look and maybe give me a comment or maybe you are interested in my training. Hope you are well and things are moving smoothly along. Lv Alix
